Regarding latest SVN MVDSV builds
People using SVN to get the latest MVDSV should try to avoid updating MVDSV at this moment. It appears that demo deletion is broken ever since r875 (r874 is ok) so your demo-dir will get flooded by demos. If one insists on using the latest builds, try Deurk's branch and the very latest version.
